The real adventure begins

I'm starting this blog a bit late cos up to now, although we've been having a great time there haven't been any real highlights. Did that change today! (or last night if you count the view at Carmela Beach).Day 1. 31 May 2012Drove 490km in the rain and stayed at Granite Creek free camping area. Day 2. 1 June 2012. Drove about 450km in the rain and stayed at Carmela Beach free camping area. Fantastic views!Today:Two brolgas beside a sugar cane crop right next to the highway.Cloud on mountains, more cloud on mountains. Cloud on canefields, more cloud on canefields.Airlie Beach and cloud on mountains and sea.An amazing seafood platter lunch at Sorrentos in Airlie Beach.The first shower since home.And of course the day wouldn't be complete without a trip to Bunnings and a camping shop.
