Day 4 and 5 adventures

I didn't mention our free camp at Home Hill the night before last. Free hot showers were a big plus but we were a bit concerned about noise because it was crowded and between the main street and the railway line! A couple of trains came through during the evening and there was a bit of yahooing from the pub across the road but the rest of the night was dead quiet and we got a great nights sleep. Not a pretty camp site but We definitely recommend it.For the Bushies: Didn't see you guys on the moonwalk last night! Lawrie and I did the full moon walk at The Boulders, Babinda. Babinda Creek was an awesome and dangerous alternative to the Brisbane River. Didn't miss Amicis, dinner was at the Hi House cafe. Ham steaks, mashed veggies and local produce tomato sweet chilli onion sauce washed down with a cheeky full bodied Shiraz :-)The free camp site at the Boulders was fantastic. Showers 2 days in a row what luxury! Lawrie wuzzed out on a cold shower though.Saw what we think was a marsupial rat foraging in the campground.I don't seem to be able to position photos with the IPad blogger app but one of the photos is of a brooding Bartle Frere the highest mountain in QLD! We've been to 3 camping shops today, hopefully we are done with camping shopping for a while. Tonight we are at Palm Cove camping ground, our first paid camping, a whole $18 but laundry needs to be done!
